Adnams Southwold - Dry Hopped Lager - ABV 4.2%

For our first true lager, we wanted to give it the appearance of a beer everyone was familiar with, but with the twist of more fruit- driven hops. We did several trials on our pilot brew kit to try to get the right balance, before settling on this recipe. Our Jack Brand beers give a firm nod to many years of Adnams brewing heritage, at the same time as introducing modern styles, flavours, and recipes. The 'Jack Brand,' or 'Southwold Jack,' is Adnams oldest trademark. The design is inspired by some old, refillable 'Jack Brand' bottles found in our cellars. Small, dark-brown and branded with cream-coloured paint, they were hand crafted and simple. It was this honesty and simplicity we wanted to reflect in the range.

Taste: Light, crisp and refreshing with moreish tropical fruit flavours, notes of citrus and a subtle bitterness.

Gas required: Polykegs will work on any gas type including compressed air. They are a perfect partner for use with a Lindr on PortaPint draught beer dispenser.

Shelf life: Long - The foil bag contained within the keg allows for a much longer shelf life than a normal beer keg, even when connected 6- 8 weeks.

Please recycle the deflated keg after use!
